Privacy Policy

1. GENERAL
1.1. AHEAD LEADS DIGITAL MARKETING AGENCY (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates https://aheadleads.com/ (the “Site”). This page explains our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information received from users of the site.
1.2. We take the security of your personal information seriously. All personal information that you provide to us is subject to our Privacy Policy. We use your personal information only for providing and improving the Site. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. However, due to the nature of the Internet, we cannot guarantee that your communications will be free from unauthorised access by third parties. Accordingly, we will not be held liable for any loss or damages arising from third parties’ unauthorised access.

2.1. This Privacy Policy applies to all visitors to the Site and customers who have subscribed to the services we offer (“you” and “your”).

  • Information that has been made anonymous so that it does not identify a specific person;
  • Permanently de-identified information that does not relate or cannot be traced specifically back to you;
  • Non-personal statistical information collected and compiled by us and information that you have provided voluntarily in an open, public environment or forum including (without limitation), any blog, chat room, community, classifieds or discussion board. Because the information has been disclosed in a public forum, it is no longer confidential and does not constitute personal information subject to protection under this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with anything in this Privacy Policy then you may refrain from registering for and using any of our services. You may not access the Site or use our services if you are younger than 18 years old or do not have legal capacity to conclude legally binding contracts. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you are deemed to have read, understood, accepted, and agreed to be bound by all its terms and conditions.

5.1. We may amend the terms and/or conditions of this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any changes by placing a notice in a prominent place on the Site or by email. 6. COLLECTION

Registration Information:

6.1. While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you.

6.2. Upon registering on our Site, you will no longer be anonymous to us as you will provide us with personal information. This Personal Information will include:

  • Your name, surname, company name, company registration number, VAT number;
  • Telephone number, email address, postal address, postal code;
  • Unique user ID, password.

Service Information:

6.3. In order to provide our services to you, you will be requested to provide us with additional information on a voluntary basis.

Optional Information:

6.4. You may also provide additional information on a voluntary basis which includes content and/or products/services that you decide to upload or download from our Site or when you enter competitions, take advantage of promotions, respond to surveys, register and subscribe for certain additional services, or use the optional features and functionality of the Site.

Collection from Browser:

6.5. We automatically receive and record Internet usage information on our hosting company’s server logs from your browser, such as:

  • Your internet protocol address (“IP Address”);
  • Browsing habits;
  • Click patterns;
  • Version of software installed;
  • System type;
  • Screen resolutions;
  • Colour capabilities;
  • Plug-ins;
  • Language settings;
  • Cookie preferences;
  • Search engine keywords;
  • JavaScript enablement;
  • The content and pages that you access on the Site;
  • The dates and times that you visit the Site, paths taken, and time spent on the Sites and pages within the Site (“usage information”).

6.6. In addition, we may use third party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor and analyse information.

6.7. Please note that other websites visited before entering our Site may place Personal Information within your URL during a visit to it, and we have no control over such websites. Accordingly, a subsequent website that collects URL information may log certain Personal Information elements.

Cookies:

6.8. Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored in the hard drive of the User’s computer by the browser. The browser will have the option to prevent websites using cookies but this may reduce the functionality of the Site.

6.9. You warrant that, by using the Site, you acknowledge that we use cookies on the Site to enable it to personalise each User’s visits to the Site, simplify the signing-in procedure, keep track of your preferences and to track the usage of the Site.

6.10. When you access the Site we may send one or more cookies (small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters) to your computer to collect certain usage information. Web Beacons:

Purpose for Collection:

Our contracts with our service providers, who assist in portions of our business operations (fraud prevention, bill collection, marketing, technology services), dictate that these service providers only use your information in connection with the services they perform for us and not for their own benefit. These service providers may include:

  • Credit bureaus - to report account information, as permitted by law;
  • Banking partners - as required by credit card association rules, for inclusion on their list of terminated merchants (in the event that you utilise the services to receive payments and you meet their criteria);
  • Regulators - should you contact us regarding your experience with using any of our products/services, we may disclose your Personal Information as required of by law or governmental audit.

9.3. We may disclose Personal Information to law enforcement, if required, by a subpoena or court order, to:

  • Comply with any law;
  • To protect the safety of any individual or the general public;
  • Prevent violation of our terms of service.

9.4. We will not sell Personal Information.

9.5. No Personal Information will be disclosed to anyone except as provided in this Privacy Policy.

9.6. We may disclose aggregate statistics (information about the customer population in general terms) regarding Personal Information to advertisers or business partners.

9.7. Should we undergo a change in ownership, or a merger with, acquisition by, or sale of assets to another entity, we may assign our rights to the Personal Information we process to a successor, purchaser or separate entity. We will disclose the transfer on the Site.

  • Should you have any concerns regarding your Personal Information migrating to a new owner, you may request us to delete your Personal Information.

9.8. We may need to disclose Personal Information to our employees who require the Personal Information to execute their responsibilities and duties efficiently.

12.1. We will only retain your Personal Information for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes stated above, unless:

12.2. During the period of retention, we will continue to abide by our non-disclosure obligations and will not share or sell your Personal Information.


13. TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE SOUTH AFRICA

13.1. We may transmit or transfer Personal Information outside South Africa to a foreign country. Personal information may be stored on servers located outside South Africa in a foreign country whose laws protecting Personal Information may not be as stringent as the laws in South Africa.

13.2. You consent to us processing your Personal Information in a foreign country whose laws regarding processing of Personal Information may be less stringent.


14. UPDATING OR REMOVING

14.1. You may choose to correct or update the Personal Information you have submitted to us, by clicking the menu in any of the pages on the Site or emailing the updates to us at rochelle@aheadleads.com.


15. LIMITATION

15.1. We are not responsible for, give no warranties, nor make any representations in respect of the privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites.


16. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

16.1. This Privacy Policy is effective as of 1 June 2020 and will remain in effect except with respect to any future amendments thereto, which amendments will take immediate effect upon being posted to this webpage

16.2. We reserve the right to update or amend the Privacy Policy at any time and you agree to revert to this webpage periodically to appraise yourself of any updates/amendments to the Privacy Policy.

16.3. Your continued use of the Site after we post any updates/amendments to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and you consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.

16.4. Should any material changes be made to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you, either through the email address you have provided to us or by placing a prominent notice on the Site.
